23 Weeks...OH-IO

The last couple of weeks have been so busy it has actually been nice to spend some time at home (well except for all that pesky housework that his piled up).  On Saturday Joe and I watched Ohio State beat Western Michigan 38-12, making us 4-0 so far this season.  It's our last game unless we find some tickets to buy at work. (We won't get offered season tickets until next year.  Any takers for babysitters next fall?!).  Before the game we met up with The Mayhills and Morris' for a little bar hopping and lunch at Eddie George's.  On game day every bar you go to ID's you before you go in, which is quite a funny experience when you are obviously pregnant.  Callie also really confused a bar tender when she ordered me a water, they kept asking "a Lager?".  The whole gang is guessing boy (except Nate who isn't ready to commit...we'll pin you to something before January!).
This was take #52,198.  We finally got Callie and I strategically placed so she could look 50 lbs. lighter, and me 50 lbs. heavier!  Luke had a little fun with us taking so long.  The college student taking the pics was a champ (and probably thinks us "old folks" are weird.)
Bad pours make for pouty faces.
Another beautiful day to be a buckeye.  We love this place!
Love our little buckeye family!

Joe has been hard at work on the nursery this week.  All the little boxes are much more time consuming than the chair rail.  We'll post some progress pictures once all of the molding is up.  We ordered all of the nursery furniture (which should be arriving today!) and we can't wait to start putting the nursery together!  I am already convinced this is going to be the nicest room in our house.

Joe had to work, but I had a free day so I snuck over to Dayton to visit Mark, Scarlet, and Jordyn.  She is already 3 months so I am happy I finally got to meet her.  Mama even trusted me to babysit for a few minutes while she went to pick up some pizza.  Jordyn is such a good baby, and she has the cutest "mean mugging" face and sleeping poses.   I can't believe how much personality she has already.  It was great catching up with Scarlet.  I did love the look of shock on Scarlet's face when I reminded her I am still only 23 weeks.  She's hopeful I stay at the same cute size for a little while now, haha! Since our pregnancies have been so similar, Scarlet is guessing girl :)

Arms always in the air!  Jordyn :)

And we all know what Daddy's guess still is.  Although he always makes sure to cover all his bases!

Baby is the Size of a Grapefruit

New for baby this week? Baby L has saggy translucent skin (will have some fattening up to do to catch up), cochlea is fully formed making baby's hearing much better (sorry Izzy barks so much!)
Maternity clothes? I bought some new maternity shirts this week.  My regular shirts are borderline getting a little too short.
Best moment this week? All of the increased movement.
Movement? All the time.  At work last Friday the baby was tickling me all day!! It normally doesn't tickle so I am not sure what was going on in there.
Food cravings? Ice cream.  Cereal.
Have you started to show yet? As Daddy said "that's not a baby bump anymore, you look pregnant!"
Belly Button in or out? Now I am not sure whether it is going to "pop out" or just flatten/stretch out.
Happy or Moody most of the time? Happy!
Looking forward to?  More football with friends (can't beat football season in Columbus).
