Easter Weekend 2018...C'mon Baby L 2.0!

We kept ourselves pretty busy in the days leading up to Baby L 2.0's arrival.  We decided to head to the zoo on Saturday morning for Eggs, Paws, and Claws.  My goal was to walk Baby L 2.0 out, but I only managed to get a few contractions out of walking around the zoo for a few hours, so that was obviously not successful. But luckily the weather was gorgeous and we enjoyed a great day getting some one on one time with our little man.
Before and After.  Bran Man was worn out.

Bran was especially fond of the reptile exhibit. We must have spent an hour in there.

On Easter Sunday I decided to try a little pinterest project, bunny pancakes! They turned out really cute and Bran loved them so much.  He even knew what they were right away without me telling him so I must have done okay. Hopefully this can be a family tradition, and maybe Mama can get creative with some other holidays as well. Ya know gotta enjoy these things while they still think Mom and Dad are cool.

We had to stay in Columbus for Easter because we were on Baby Watch.  We spent the day with the Mayhills and Stimsons.  About two minutes before we were getting ready to head out the door to go over there I lost a big chunk of my mucus plug, so we got a little nervous/excited and Joe even asked if we should put the hospital bags in the car.  I assured him we probably still had plenty of time, I wasn't having any significant or regular contractions. And this was all false hope (or a nice April Fools joke from baby), with no further evidence of baby wanting to make an appearance quite yet. Also (thankfully) no water breaking at the dinner table in front of everyone like we had joked about.  Bran had a good time playing with Lily and enjoying a little fresh air.

So here is our last official photo as a family of 3, but very apparently soon to be 4. We are so excited to meet you Baby L 2.0! And if you don't decide to come on your own, we'll give you a little budge on Tuesday morning. Mama is ready to pop!!!
