We had a “wild and crazy” New Years Eve celebration. We were happy to have Dad around to get in on the fun because he was on call all weekend. The kids loved the sparkling grape juice and noise makers. New Years was celebrated at 8 p.m. haha.
Our basement project is officially underway. We seem to spend the last part of every pregnancy trying to get some kind of crazy project done, and I guess finishing the basement it is this time. We want to put in another bedroom and full bathroom, bar, play area, and of course a great area for watching movies and Buckeye games! We got our egress window installed, I can’t believe it only took them 3 hours! The kids have been “helping” us clean out some stuff. Which basically means getting into everything.
I had my anatomy ultrasound. Dada and the kids were not allowed to join, thanks Covid! But the best news is that everything looks great!! Baby was kicking like crazy and kept grabbing his/her foot when they were trying to get leg measurements. I also have an anterior placenta again this time (adding to my argument that this is another girl). I am kind of bummed the movements are going to be cushioned by the placenta again. So I guess Brannock is going to get the award for best movements (as far as feeling/visually) award. They also let me take a little video of baby at the end of the appointment so I could share it with the kids. Brannock is happy to report daily that baby is getting bigger. He always wants to know “how many more days until baby gets here?!) HAHA. Both of the kids constantly want to blow raspberries on my belly, until they decide “baby is cold” and needs covered back up.
Here are the 20 week stats on the 3 kids, boy or girl what do you think?!
Brannock: HR 141 BPM, 82nd percentile, posterior placenta, no morning sickness
Amelia: HR 136 BPM, 55th percentile, anterior placenta, some morning sickness first trimester
Baby L 3.0: HR 142 BPM, 74th percentile, anterior placenta, all day everyday morning sickness first trimester
In other exciting news, 2021 is off to a great start (that is minus OSU beating Clemson only to lose to Alabama in the national championship. No born a champion sleep sack for Baby L 3.0). Amelia FINALLY started pooping on the potty out of nowhere. She pee trained at 22 months, which I started because she randomly was pooping on the potty. Pee took off and she has been out of diapers since she was 2, poop has been a struggle. She had a poop spot in her room she always went to, whether she was in a pull up or underwear. It was so frustrating. Then on New Years, she pooped in the potty and hasn’t looked back since! She stays dry at night and is 100% out of pull ups!! Let me do my excited about to me a mom of 3 dance!!
We are busy with work, kids are busy at school. I started Kindergarten registration for Bran (cue the Mom tears!). Bran lost a fight with a swing, but as Dad taught him “you should see the other guy”. He is such a tough kid! Amelia got her second haircut, they cut two inches off and you can’t even tell! Lol. I have been keeping up with working out a few times a week and am feeling really good! This is by far my fittest pregnancy. I really hope I can keep it up. I physically just feel so much better this go around.
