14 Weeks. Second Trimester!!

14 Weeks. Baby is the Size of a Peach

Total Weight Gain/Loss? 0 lbs.
Maternity Clothes? Yes, for the most part because they are just more comfortable and look better on me at this point. If there is one thing I have learned is there is no point fighting it!
Stretch Marks? Nope
Sleep? Feeling a little more energized, but still happy to sneak in a nap when I can.
Best moment this week? Looking pregnant! It’s so much better than just feeling fluffy. For not putting on any weight so far, it is truly amazing how much my body has already changed.
Miss Anything? Christmas Beer. Although I really don’t like the smell of beer right now, so maybe not?
Movement? I swear I have felt a flutter....but I could be imagining things.
Food cravings? I just like snacking in general. It’s pretty well rounded between sweet and salty.
Anything making you queasy or sick? I felt great when we were in NC. Then was back to feeling sick the next week. But since then I think it has finally tapered off! I haven’t been nauseous lately. But now I get headaches and occasional insomnia.
Gender?  Bran says sister, Amelia says brother. I think really it’s just what they are both used to.
Labor Signs? No.
Belly Button in or out? It’s popping out. Amelia likes to poke it and talk to the baby.
Wedding rings on or off? On
How is mama feeling? Better. Less nervous. More excited.
Looking forward to?  Christmas season

Well since this will be our last baby, I can say I have just wrapped up my last first trimester. I feel okay leaving it behind because I felt so terrible it was hard to be a good Mom. But I am feeling so much more like myself now am so happy to be starting my second trimester! I also feel so beautiful being cute pregnant at this stage. I love having a little baby bump. I have been energized, and trying to get in a few workouts a week. I haven’t been getting any of the early pregnancy aches and pains this time around. I think both coming in more fit and continuing to work at it is helping.

Joe and I had a great weekend in Bald Head Island with our friends. It was a much needed recharge away from the kids. By the end of the weekend, we really did miss them! It was the longest we had been away from either of them in awhile. Minus some rain, the weather was fantastic and we got in some much needed sunshine, relaxation, and fun with friends!

We made it Facebook official at 11 weeks! I was starting to show, and Bran was starting to talk. So we felt like it was time to share. Everyone has been so happy for us. And everyone that has 3 kids seems to think we are joining a great club lol.

We are wrapping up fall. The leaves have all fallen, and we are expecting our first snowfall on Monday morning. COVID is running rampant so things are a bit weird, but we are trying to make the best of it. We had a small Thanksgiving celebration with Renee, Aaron, and Jaden. The kids got to meet their new puppy, Winston!

Hard to believe December is just a few days away! We got all of our Christmas decorations up and the kids are so incredibly excited. We helped them write their letters to Santa and dropped them off in his special mailbox so they can get to the North Pole. Bran wants a “marble race” (Gravitrax) and a “Dino garage” (hot wheels). Amelia wants a doll house and Minnie Mouse. Hopefully they stay on the nice list and Santa can bring some nice gifts.

10 Weeks. 25% Complete. First Ultrasound.

10 Weeks. Baby is the Size of a Golden Snitch.

Total Weight Gain/Loss? 0 lbs.
Maternity Clothes? No. Mostly just feeling fluffy in all of my regular clothe as the day goes on. But I am not ready for maternity clothes quite yet.
Stretch Marks? Nope
Sleep? Super tired. Napping when I can.
Best moment this week? First OB appointment and ultrasound, FINALLY!
Miss Anything? Not really.
Movement? No.
Food cravings? Nothing specific.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Generally starting to feel a little better. Although I hope I am not jinxing myself saying that. I have thought this a couple times before and the nausea came back with a vengeance.
Gender?  The sickness has us thinking girl, because I was sick with Amelia but not really with Brannock.
Labor Signs? No.
Belly Button in or out? I swear it is starting to pop out a little bit already and I am not even really showing that much yet.
Wedding rings on or off? On
How is mama feeling? Excited. And tired.
Looking forward to?  Our trip to Bald Head Island, NC with friends. Kid free!!!! Well minus the one in my belly. Grandma Lude (Me-Maw) and Serena are coming to stay with the kids/dogs.

Tired pregnant mama here, with two kiddos that have no idea what is going on. But they sure do love being all over mama all the time. Where will I fit number 3?!

I had my first OB appointment at 10 weeks and 2 days. It was so weird having to wait this long! Office visit wasn’t that weird with COVID. Just the usual temperature checks, mask wearing, and going solo. Some of the initial appointments are a little more spread out, but I guess it is really only two less appointments than what I was used to. I had a transvaginal ultrasound and got to meet the new little one!! (Yes it is confirmed there is only one baby on board). The baby was wiggling around like crazy! I could see the little arms moving it was so cute. The HR was 167 BPM, and everything looks normal. It was so funny because before Dr. Turner had even started the ultrasound she was doing an exam and goes oh yea you are definitely pregnant! Lol. I am guessing she was feeling my uterus. I am also narrowly avoiding a “geriatric” pregnancy, and thankful to not have to worry about that.  So, here are our first pictures of Baby L 3.0!

We had a great Halloween. Bran wanted to be “dark Spider-Man” a.k.a. Miles Morales. So we ran with the superhero theme and dressed Amelia up as Superwoman. The weather was beautiful for Boo at the Zoo!

Trick or Treat, as usual, was cold! It had rained all day but luckily let up enough to make it an enjoyable evening. I handed out candy while Joe took the kids out. COVID ruined the Dublin Spooktacular so we didn’t go this year. Fingers crossed things go back to normal and we can go next year with all 3!

The Buckeyes are back in action! It’s exciting that we can have an 8 game season and a chance to make a run for a national championship. It is so weird not having any fans in the stands!

The dogs are still here! The kids love them. And the dogs tolerate all of the craziness. Get ready pups, more fun is coming soon!
